A controversial evangelist visited the White House to meet with President Donald Trump, and a photo of the two went viral after many on the internet speculated that he was checking her out as she sat down in front of him.
Paula White, a longtime Trump supporter and an ally to the president, joined Trump in a strategy meeting alongside other controversial figures like NRA head Wayne LaPierre.
In a photo that went viral, Trump can be seen pulling out a chair for White so she can sit down. As he’s doing so, however, it appears as though he is looking at her rear end.
- Many viewers speculated on what Trump was doing in that particular moment.
- “Picture #1 he’s totally looking at her rear!” one Daily Mail reader commented.
Evangelicals have been extremely supportive of Trump, including Liberty University president Jerry Falwell Jr., who played a role in the president’s campaign.
“I think Trump is more one of us. He’s not an elitist. He doesn’t look down his nose at evangelicals and Christians and conservatives.
I’m very shocked by how accessible he is to so many. He answers his cellphone any time of the day or night,” Falwell told The Washington Post.
White previously praised Trump and spoke of his spiritual views and relationship with God, saying that portrayals of him as unfamiliar with spirituality and religion were false.
“I know that President-elect Trump has a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ,” White told The New York Times at the time. “We’ve had in-depth conversations about God.”
Ronnie Floyd, the former president of the Souther Baptist Convention, is a Trump supporter who applauded his refugee ban but opposed the president’s decision to uphold former President Barack Obama’s protections of LGBT citizens.
“I think it’s unnecessary that we have to try to grant special rights based on sexual identity,” Floyd said. “I think obviously we believe in America that all men are created equal.”
