Will Ferrell is known for slapstick comedies. He has portrayed many laughable roles. However, his latest production, portraying President Ronald Reagan, could cost him some fans.
Ferrell’s upcoming move was announced earlier this week. The film will be titled Reagan, and will focus on President Reagan’s second term. Ferrell will be starring as Reagan and creating a comedy out of a disease that is no laughing matter. Daily Mail reported the description of the film, “When Ronald Reagan falls into dementia at the start of his second term, an ambitious intern is tasked with convincing the Commander-In-Chief that he is an actor playing the President in a movie.”
Understandably, his children are furious. They have taken to social media to vent their frustration. Reagan’s daughter, Patty Davis, released an open letter to Ferrell.
