Henriette Jonassen has twins and is living in Norway. She’s had quite a hectic summer getting her babies to go to bed. This time of year it doesn’t get dark there until 10 p.m.
She made an adorable video of her typical evenings for her blog, named ‘Whack-a-Mole With Babies’, and the video, ‘Twins bedtime’ has proved quite popular.
Typically as a mom it’s hard to get your little ones to bed after they get old enough to walk, but for Jonassen the minute she gets them into bed, it’s almost impossible to keep them there.
As soon as she does, one of them pops right back out!
Jonassen said in her blog that she filmed the time lapse because she was certain her baby bedtime routine for their first Summer season wouldn’t work and wanted video proof.
“Normally, I would put them to bed, sing a few songs while tickling their backs, and close the door behind me. That worked out great,” she wrote. “But that changed.”
At one point she even tries the ol’ sitting in a chair against the door trick.
But that doesn’t even work..
Finally after 10 p.m. they are peacefully asleep!
