Little 6 year old Levi Mayhew suffers from Zellweger Syndrome, a terminal genetic disorder. His Make-A-Wish dream was to go to Disney, but since he couldn’t go he donated his wish to his best friend, 10 year old Emma Boyer.
#2 The Cutout
Emma didn’t want to go without Levi, so she made a cutout of the boy and took him with her on the trip.
#3 Emma Took Photos Of Everywhere She Went
Emma captured the trip in photos so Levi could enjoy the trip with her.
#4 Her T-Shirt
The two wore matching t-shirts … Emma’s saying “Levi wished for ME to go to Disney,” while Levi’s cutout’s t-shirt said, “I wished for Emma to go to Disney.” The trip was paid for by Make-A-Wish.
#5 Levi’s Mother
Levi’s mother was touched by the love that Emma showed her little boy. “”It’s a very warm feeling to know that another child loves and cares so much for your child.”
#6 Levi’s Cut Out On The Plane
Here is Levi and Emma on the plane to Disney. His mother said that Emma is one of the few people who brings him joy.
#7 So Many Pictures
Emma made a scrapbook of all the pictures she took at Disney, including memorabilia.
#8 Other Trips
Emma inspired others to take Levi’s cutout on other trips. Here he is at Niagra Falls.
Communities have been inspired by Emma and Levi. Here he is with a basketball team that took him along to their game.
